CSSB maintains connection with an ever-growing web of incredible local, regional and national artists. We can facilitate venue-artist connections and bookings that respect both artist fair pay and venue budgetary needs. 

CURATION

CSSB collaborates with organizers and venues to curate events that gather community around music and food. Curations can include artist and venue booking and communication, day-of-show hosting, marketing and social media. Curations also seek out  possible local community organizations for partnership in building audiences. Events such as songwriting workshops, panel conversations, songwriter circles, community-engaged “big sings” and more can also be facilitated. COUNTRY SOUL SONGBOOK PRESENTS / THANK YOU MA’AM BAND

CSSB maintains the Thank You Ma’am Band, a house band comprised of local Durham musicians whose fortè is collaborating with and backing different artists, which can help to lower fees for traveling artists. This band can also be booked as part of a concert series or as a one-off featuring NC artists Charly Lowry, Kamara Thomas and Kym Register.
